NEW GUIDELINES

Beginning October 1st, 2022, if a Candidate is wishing to sit for the NAVLE, he/she will have to contact the International Council of Veterinary Assessment (ICVA) office.  The ICVA will now assume all administrative responsibilities necessary to determine candidates eligibility for the NAVLE examination. Once a candidate has sit for his/her NAVLE, scores will then be sent to the Alabama State Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners.

If an individual upon successful completion of the NAVLE wishes to be granted a DVM License in the State of Alabama, he/she will have to fill out  a DVM License Application and pay the fee of $250.00.  Individuals will have to provide to the ASBVME Board all documentation that is requested on the cover letter of the DVM License Application, before a DVM license may be granted.
