ALL CONTINUING EDUCATION
PROVIDERS
All Continuing Education has to
be approved by
the Alabama State Board of Veterinary Medical
Examiners, no matter if it is a State Association,
Constituent Association, or University. If CE is
not submitted to the ASBVME Office then it will
not be validated for CE Credit. If CE is not submitted
then it will be the responsibility of the CE Provider
to let their attendees know that they will not receive
CE Credit Hours for attending!
All CE Providers need to email their CE Approval
Request to Mrs. Karen Hester at
KarenM.Hester@ASBVME.alabama.gov.

Premise Inspections for AAHA
Accrediated Clinics in Alabama |
The ASBVME Inspector will still
visit clinics at their
three - year rotation, but clinics
that have passed an
AAHA evaluation will be exempt
from the ASBVME
Inspection. You will need to
provide to the ASBVME
Inspector a copy of your clinic
evaluation from AAHA
and CE for yourself and any
Licensed Veterinary
Technician which may be in your
employment at the
time.
