Continuing Education Requirement for 2020
The ASBVME Board held its virtual board meeting on, Friday, June 26, 2020, and one of the many things that was discussed and voted on was in regards to
Continuing Education for the Calendar Year 2020. The following motion was made, and passed unanimously:
Motion to allow veterinarians to obtain their 20 Continuing Education Hours for the Calendar Year 2020 either in person or online.
This motion is only for 2020 CE reporting, and will remain in effect until December 31, 2020, even if the
emergency restrictions are lifted in regards to COVID-19 before the end of the 2020 Calendar Year.
The ASBVME Board believes there is ample opportunity for everyone to obtain their CE to meet the requirements for the 2021
license renewal which begins October 1, 2020 and expires on December 31, 2020.
